Our Mission Statement
Our commitment at Good Shepherd Preschool is to help the children in our care to develop and mature physically, emotionally, intellectually, socially and spiritually. We hope that each child will know that Jesus is their Good Shepherd, Savior and Friend.
Our desire is that each boy and girl in our Preschool will reach their full potential and someday grow to become a happy, productive, creative, Christian adult.
THREE YEAR OLD PROGRAM
When: 8:30am – 11:00am with the choices of Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Our 3 year old program encourages independence while building important social skills and friendships. Through hands-on activities, songs, and engaging lessons, children explore shapes, colors, counting, the alphabet, and early problem solving. We create a nurturing environment where children learn through play, develop confidence, and grow spiritually, socially and emotionally.
FOUR YEAR OLD PROGRAM
When: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12:30pm – 3:30pm
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Our 4 year old program provides a wide range of learning experiences designed to prepare children for kindergarten. Each day includes Bible time, Heggerty phonemic awareness, handwriting, ABC, and math focused lessons. Children learn best through active engagement, so we incorporate play, music, art, hands on exploration, and enrichment activities into our routine. We also focus on nurturing self-esteem, confidence, and independence, helping every child to grow spiritually, socially, emotionally and academically in a supportive environment.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Both of the classes above have daily indoor and outdoor play along with a snack time.
